Meet with your muse this Spring in the idyllic Morris Arboretum & Gardens. This workshop for experienced as well as aspiring songwriters is intended to prime the pump, inspire new ideas, and introduce songwriting techniques in a supportive and motivating environment. A different facet of songwriting is explored at each session, with a writing prompt based on that aspect or technique. Each week, participants are invited to share a new song to the group for feedback, and if requested, guidance and coaching from our group facilitator, award-winning songwriter Meghan Cary. Spring is the perfect time to reinvigorate your writing practice, add tools to your songwriting toolbox, and tap into your senses as you nurture your creative self in nature.
Sundays: April 14, 21, 28, and May 5, 2024 10 AM–12 PM | Members $145 | Non-members $160
“Can the world stand one more sensitive, storytelling troubadour? If the artist in question is Cary, the answer is a resounding yes. ”
